Comparing the platforms of County Commissioner candidates Steve Bradshaw and Butch Horton, I’m wondering what Horton is actually about. He is running as a conservative Republican, but he quotes phrases right out of the United Nations globalist Agenda 21/ 2030 playbook, making vague statements on his “Priorities” website, Facebook page, and video-clips.
For instance, statements like, “Bonner County matters” sounds like the liberal group “Reclaim Idaho,” funded by non-Idahoans; “We must manage our forests and water,” as if we are not currently doing that; and “Growth demands smart planning and zoning,” which reflects Agenda 21’s objective, “Smart growth;” = no private property rights. Without a single specific example or plan, his lofty slogans send red flags.
Favorite terms include “collaboration,” “cooperation,” “partnerships,” and “working with all interests.” What do those terms mean to him? Bonner County conservatives recognize those as buzzwords of the environmental groups operating in the area, and know they are used to sugar-coat socialist agenda items.
We would have asked him many questions at the Bonner County Republican Central Committee candidate forum which he was invited to attend, in person or by phone, but he chose to do neither.
Bradshaw, on the other hand, endorses keeping our wildlands in County hands, available to the public; promotes private property rights via Sub-Area plans created by the homeowners – including honoring their position against small cell tower placement; and opposes the proposed silicon smelter and any increase in county budgets.
My vote will unhesitatingly go to Commissioner Steve Bradshaw.
