Support for County Commissioner Steve Bradshaw

Support for County Commissioner Steve Bradshaw

I want to express my wholehearted support for County Commissioner Steve Bradshaw as an elected official who actually walks the walk when it comes to his conservative campaign promises.

The legal challenge he spearheaded against the City’s infringement on the Second Amendment deserves the appreciation of everyone who values the Constitution. Bolstering his reasoning was Sheriff Wheeler, and it’s clear that both have a firmer grasp on constitutional issues and Idaho law than the Sandpoint City Council and even Judge Haynes.

Although the judge ruled in favor of the City last month, the County and Commissioner Bradshaw stand firmly on the side of the Constitution and have filed an appeal to Idaho Supreme Court. This is the kind of commitment we like to see from elected officials, and we certainly wouldn’t see it from Commissioner Bradshaw’s opponent. His position is that the lawsuit should never have happened. That clearly says that he doesn’t value the Second Amendment as written in the Constitution and as enforced by Idaho law.

Thank you, Commissioner Bradshaw and Sheriff Wheeler, for your unwavering stance to defend our rights at a time when they seem to be under attack from every corner.
