Oregon HB 2238: Taking What They Want From Citizens

Democrat Commies in Oregon are again preparing more bills with which to assault their citizens during the upcoming legislative session.
And, as usual, everyone must watch these bills carefully because we know that, if it goes well in Oregon, other Democrat Communists throughout the country will push these same kind of bills through their own states.
House Bill 2238 says that it is only clarifying the Governor’s authority to use property during emergency. But, what does this mean?
Always… repeat always… read the bill to see what it is actually telling you!
The bill will expand the Governor’s powers whenever she decides to declare an emergency.
1) Control, restrict and regulate by rationing, freezing, use of quotas, prohibitions on shipments, price fixing, allocation or other means, the use, sale or distribution of food, feed, fuel, clothing and other commodities, materials, goods and services;
2) Prescribe and direct activities in connection with use, conservation, salvage and prevention of waste of materials, services and facilities, including, but not limited to, production, transportation, power and communication facilities training, and supply of labor, utilization of industrial plants, health and medical care, nutrition, housing, rehabilitation, education, welfare, child care, recreation, consumer protection and other essential civil needs; and
3) Take any other action, including through the seizure, use or possession of any real or personal property…”
It also allows for the state to take what it wants without compensation, unless the owner of the property (either real or personal) can prove they are entitled to compensation.
So basically, they can take what they want, implement rationing of food, limit all commodities or anything else, not necessarily guaranteeing payment to the people they take it from, and it will all be legal.
No more complaints from the people. No more rallies and no more protests.
Since the government knows best what you need, and they can declare an ongoing emergency (think of flu season) this can become the standard way of life for many. Dontcha just love the way the Democrats are looking out for you?
They can decide to house troops in your home, if they determine that is what is needed. They can decide how much gasoline you are allowed to purchase, and what price you will pay for it. They will use this to determine what is essential and what is not.
And it will all go without question, as they will make it law.
