WASHINGTON, D.C. –-(Ammoland.com)-The Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) has sent its new proposed set rules surrounding pistol braces to the White House ahead of publishing the proposed regulations on unfinished frames and receivers. Electioneering is Prohibited By Law, Even on a Bond Vote When a school district puts a levy question on the ballot, they are only allowed to publicize information about the levy itself. Commissioner Wants Your Vote For Solid Waste Bond I’m baffled. I recently noted the Bonner County Republican Central Committee (BCRCC) is coming out against the Solid Waste Bond on the May ballot. I thought Republicans stood for lower fees and taxes yet they are opposing a Bond measure that allows the County to take out a low interest loan, at 1.75%, that will assure rates stay flat. Vote No on Solid Waste Bond   On May 18 you are being asked to vote on the Special Revenue Bond for the County’s solid waste system. It deserves a No vote. There are too many unanswered questions. First, why the rush for a bond? The stated reason is to have funds available immediately for solid waste improvements because of “federal requirements” and because costs will go up in the future.
